Oviedo’s Food Truck Thursday has been rescheduled to March 31 due to weather. The event will be from 5-9 p.m. Thursday, March 31 at Center Lake Park, 299 Center Lake Lane in Oviedo. Get more information.

Friday

See “Tom and Jerry” (2021) at Oviedo’s Movie Night in The Park from 7:30-10 p.m. Friday, March 25 at the Oviedo Amphitheater in Center Lake Park, 299 Center Lake Lane in Oviedo. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs. There will be free popcorn. Get more information.

Saturday

Sample food from tons of local restaurants at Taste of Oviedo, happening from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 26, at the Oviedo Mall, 1700 Oviedo Mall Blvd. in Oviedo. The event, featuring free admission, will also have a farmers market row, two stages featuring more than 20 entertainment acts, a bounce house, obstacle course and water boat ride for kids, food trucks and a beer truck. The 10K event, celebrating 10,000 children served by Simple Amazing programs is from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 29 at the Tuskawilla Country Club, 1500 Winter Springs Blvd. in Winter Springs. The event is free and requires RSVPs. Get more information.

Try a free group fitness class and have appetizers and mimosas at Breaking Barre’s Birthday Bash from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 26 at Breaking Barre, 87 Alafaya Woods Blvd, Oviedo. Get more information.

Future events

Easter egg hunts, bounce houses, lawn and carnival games and hay rides will be at the River Run Spring Festival, from 2:30-5:30 p.m. Saturday, April 9 at River Run Church, River Run Point in Oviedo. There will also be ice cream and food from Seminole BBQ and Cafe Panuzzo’s. Get more information.

Oviedo’s Egg-Ceptional Family Festival is from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 9 at Center Lake Park, 299 Center Lake Lane in Oviedo. There will be a three-legged race, a potato sack race, an egg and spoon race, egg decorating, face painting, coloring stations, activity tables, inflatables, and photos with the Easter Bunny. There will also be a kids’ show by Mr. Harley. Tickets cost $10 and can be purchased here. Adults admission is free. Get more information.
