Take your kids to a Summer Youth Sports Performance Training clinic every Monday and Wednesday from June 5-21 and July 10-26 at Valdes Performance, 521 E. State Road 434 in Winter Springs. Classes are from 8-9 a.m. for kids ages 8-12 and from 9:30-10:30 for kids ages 13-18. Classes cost $50 per week. Learn more.

Register your kids for Horse Summer Camp, happening Monday-Friday every week through the first week in August (excluding the week of July 17-21) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Burnside Bridge Equestrian, 250 E. Panama Road in Winter Springs. Activities include horse safety, bathing horses, daily riding lessons and more. The weekly rate costs $400. Learn more

Immerse your kids in STEM with a science summer program at Mad Science of Central Florida, 1700 Oviedo Mall Blvd. The program takes place Monday through Friday weekly through Aug. 8. Prices, times and activities vary each week. Learn more

Cheyne Ranch offers animal-focused, four-day (Monday-Thursday) and single-day (Mondays and Fridays) summer camps. From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., learn about how to care for animals, go on nature walks, do arts and crafts and play games. Learn more.  

Winter Springs Police Department’s Community Youth Outreach program, which it says builds stronger relationships and positive interactions with local law enforcement, is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday-Friday, weekly June 5 through July 21 at Torasco Park, 104 N. Moss Road in Winter Springs. Lunch and water will be provided. Learn more.

Kids can participate in several theater shows with summer camps at Inspired Theater Company. From 2-5 p.m. Tuesday-Friday May 30-June 2 and Monday-Friday June 5-9, students can participate in “Frozen Jr.” The performance for that show is June 10-11. From 9 a.m. to noon Monday-Friday during the weeks of June 19 and June 26, students can participate in “Finding Nemo, Jr.” The performance for that show is July 1-2. The camp is for students (entering) grades 1-12 (camps are separated into grades 1-5 and grades 6-12). The cost is $250 per show. All kids who register will receive a part in the show. Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida offers a summer camp from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, weekly from June 5-Aug. 2, at 55 Adeline B. Tinsley Way in Oviedo. The camp is for kids ages 6-18 and offers outdoor games, swimming, field trips, board games, arts and crafts, cookouts, movies and STEM activities. The cost is a one-time $30 membership fee, plus $40 for kids in grades K-6. Lunch and snack is provided. Learn more by calling 407-542-5607 or emailing afloyd@bgccf.org. 

Register your kids for Camp Sunshine with the City of Winter Springs, running each week from May 30 through July 28. The cost per week is $125 for residents and $210 for non-residents. Registration is first come, first served and will be capped at 65 campers. All fees must be paid by June 3. Learn more.

North Wind Martial Arts’ summer camp runs from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday the weeks of  May 29,  June 5, June 12, June 19 and June 26 at 1753 W. Broadway St. in Oviedo. Each day of camp will include two hours of karate instruction and a field trip. The camp focuses on routines and practices that foster respect, character, curiosity, knowledge and courtesy. The cost is $175 for a full week or $50 for a full day. There’s a $50 registration fee and the cost for additional children is discounted 10%. Learn more.

O2B Kids offers weekly themed summer camps from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday-Friday starting the week of May 29 and ending the week of July 31. Tuition costs $219 weekly. The camps group kids by age, with the youngest campers being in first grade and the oldest being 13 years old. Learn more.  

Camp Create, a summer art camp where kids will learn art theory while exploring new mediums, runs from 9 a.m. to noon Monday-Friday, June 26-30 at The Foundry Center, 1491 E. State Road 434 in Winter Springs. The camp, hosted by local artist Caryn Dahm, also includes outdoor play. The cost is $185 for the week and offers sibling discounts. Learn more

Penguin Point Productions offers one- and three-week performing arts summer camps for kids grades kindergarten through 12th and cost $150 or $400, respectively. Each camp has its own theme, including magic and Star Wars. Penguin Point is located at 1220 Oviedo Mall Blvd. Learn more

Master Roberts’ Taekwondo Summer Camps are for kids ages 4-12 and run from 9 a.m. to noon Monday-Friday, June 19-23 and July 24-28 at 980 Oviedo Blvd., Suite 1008, in Oviedo. Campers will work on Taekwondo skills as well as team-building skills. The cost is $165. Learn more.

Songbirds Music, Art, & Dance Center will host several art-based camps from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday each week starting on May 30 through Aug. 5, at 181 E. Mitchell Hammock Road in Oviedo. A majority of the camps cost $245. Early drop-off and extended days are available for an additional cost. Learn more.

Regal’s Summer Movie Express is not a camp, but rather a special event being offered over the summer. The Oviedo location, at 1500 Oviedo Marketplace Blvd., will offer $2 family movies for the first show of the day every Tuesday and Wednesday over the summer. Shows such as “Dragon 3D”, “Abominable”, “The Croods: A New Age” and “Shrek: The Final Chapter” will be showing. Learn more

Also, not a camp, but special to the summer months is the Kids Bowl Free program at District Eat and Play, every weekday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 1395 Oviedo Mall Blvd. Shoe rental is included. Learn more.
