Participate in a sunset 5k with the Ole Ole 5k in Central Winds Park starting at 7 p.m. Friday, May 25 at 100 Central Winds Drive in Winter Springs. Tickets cost $55 per runner. Each of the 400 crosses represents a military service member who died in active duty and displays their photo, name, hometown, branch of service, rank, and any higher-level awards they received. Take a break from winter events with a run through Oviedo’s historic downtown every Tuesday night with Oviedo Run Club. Most folks who attend this casual social run start the run just before 6 p.m. Participants start in the parking lot of the Historic Celery Pre-cooler, located at 159 N.
