Seminole County Public Schools’ meeting went late into the evening Tuesday night, as members of Moms for Liberty took hours reading excerpts from books the group wants to see banned from the schools.

Submit questions ahead of Oviedo election

Oviedo Mayor Megan Sladek has two challengers for her seat, which is up for election this November. Brady Duke and Judith Dolores Smith are running against the incumbent. Natalie Teuchert, who won the Group 1 seat on the Oviedo City Council two years ago when she challenged then-incumbent Smith, is running unopposed.
