Hear the two candidates vying for the open Oviedo City Council Group 3 seat talk about issues voters said matter to them at a virtual event happening from 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17. Future Events 

Early voting for the general election is 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21 and runs through Sunday, Nov. 3. Voters can use any of the seven Seminole County polling locations, which can be found here.

Grant Chapel AME Church is offering rides to voting locations for anyone in need during early voting, which is from Monday, Oct. 21 through Sunday, Nov. 3 and on Election Day, which is Tuesday, Nov. 5. Those in need should call or text 407-923-6301 or 321-377-2934 and leave a message with their name, number and the day they need a ride.

Enjoy “Mingle Mondays” with varied activities every Monday from 10 a.m.-noon at Palm Medical Centers, 220 Alafaya Woods Blvd. in Oviedo. Anyone aged 65 and older can participate in a different activity every week, such as rock painting, charades, bingo, trivia and more. Learn more.

Take part in four rounds of live pub-style trivia with the Five Minute Professor from 7-9 p.m. every Monday at Rock & Brews, 7131 Red Bug Lake Road in Oviedo. Questions cover topics such as history, geography, pop music, TV shows, science, nature, movie stars and space travel.
