The clock is ticking but there’s still plenty of time for early voting, plus a scary amount of Halloween events coming up in the next seven days.
Thursday
Early voting for the general election is from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and runs through Sunday, Nov. 3. Voters can use any of the seven Seminole County polling locations, which can be found here.
Grant Chapel AME Church is offering free rides to voting locations for anyone in need during early voting, which is from Monday, Oct. 21 through Sunday, Nov. 3 and on Election Day, which is Tuesday, Nov. 5. Those in need should call or text 407-923-6301 or 321-377-2934 and leave a message with their name, number and the day they need a ride.

Oviedo Mall’s third Annual Sip or Treat: Zombiefest is happening this week. Sip a drink as you shop and stroll your way through the Zombiefest from 5:30-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24 at the Oviedo Mall, 1700 Oviedo Mall Blvd. The event will have food, wine, photo ops and prizes. Learn more.

Dress up your puppers and head to the Oviedo Chick-fil-A for their annual Drive-Thru Dog Costume Contest from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24 at 32 E. Mitchell Hammock Road.
