Run for a cause at the 14th annual HOPE Helps Inc.  Sham Rock N’ Run 5K from 8-10 a.m. Saturday, March 8 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 2021 W. State Road 426 in Oviedo. Proceeds from the event will help prevent homelessness in Seminole County. Tickets cost $45. Learn more.

Spend the day at the 12th Annual Touch-A-Truck presented by Johnson’s Wrecker Service & Duke Energy from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 8 at the Addition Financial Arena. The hands-on event will feature a variety of trucks, including emergency vehicles and construction trucks. The last hour of the event will be a No Honking Hour for families of kids who don’t want to experience loud noises. Learn more
