Run for a cause at the Spring Rising 5K/10K Fun Run at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, March 19 at First United Methodist Church, 263 King Street, Oviedo. The event will benefit local underfunded educational and community gardens. Get more information

Honor Flight Central Florida’s 4th Annual Hot Rods for Heroes Classic Car Truck and Bike Show fundraiser is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 19 at the northwest parking lot of The Oviedo Mall, 1700 Oviedo Mall Blvd. in Oviedo. There will be live entertainment by the City of Mount Dora Pipe Band, oldies music by WJBJ mobile DJs, raffle prizes, a silent auction and food and drinks for purchase. Get more information

Sling a rubber ducky to benefit Oviedo’s Boys & Girls Club branch. The Lucky Duck Launch event is from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 19 at Irish 31 Pub House, 65 W. Mitchell Hammock Road, Oviedo. Teams of three will use a giant slingshot to launch rubber duckies at a target for points. The team with the most points wins $300 and all teams are entered to win Luke Bryan and Garth Brooks concert tickets. The cost is $45 per team. Get more information
