More than 100 colleagues from HCA Florida Healthcare sites of care across the Greater Orlando region came together at Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida on April 3 and April 24 to help sort and pack food donations. On April 24, HCA Florida Healthcare volunteers also presented a $20,000 donation to help provide food to families experiencing insecurity. The events were part of HCA Healthcare’s national We Show Up for Our Communities initiative that occurs each April to address community needs through volunteering, making charitable donations and partnering with local organizations.

On Friday, Habitat for Humanity Seminole-Apopka honored more than 100 incredible volunteers, Women Build teams, mentors, and community partners at our Habitat Achievement Awards celebration. Join us for the 52nd Annual Great Day in the Country fair, a 2-day event, held at the Oviedo Mall.

Orlando Ballet’s annual Ballet Ball, held Saturday April 18, 2026, at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort, became the most successful gala in the organization’s history, raising $1.14 million. The milestone fundraiser also welcomed its highest number of attendees to date, with 500 guests in attendance, up from 450 the prior year, drawing Central Florida’s most passionate arts advocates, philanthropists and community leaders for an unforgettable night of dance, dining and generosity.
