The Improving Oviedo Neighborhoods advisory committee is is hosting a spring cleanup event from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 2 at Refreshing Springs Primitive Baptist Church, 291 Denis Street in Oviedo. Live music and performances, as well as more than 60 local vendors selling crafts, plants, and fresh produce and ready-to-eat food will be at the Oviedo Farmers Market from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 2 at the Lawton House, 200 W. Oviedo’s Egg-Ceptional Family Festival is from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 9 at Center Lake Park, 299 Center Lake Lane in Oviedo. There will be a three-legged race, a potato sack race, an egg-and-spoon race, egg decorating, face painting, coloring stations, activity tables, inflatables, and photos with the Easter Bunny.
