The state will accept public testimony as it considers the Yarborough Ranch property in Geneva for acquisition into the Florida Forever program, which acquires land for conservation and recreation. The public hearing is at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5 at the Volusia County Commission Board Room, 123 W. Indian Ave. in DeLand.
