Scholarship opportunity now open for Seminole County high school students

The submission portal is now open for Central Florida students to apply for the JAM scholarship, sponsored by the Addition Financial Foundation.

Named after Addition Financial Credit Union’s former President and CEO, the Joseph A. Melbourne Jr. Annual Scholarship Program awards college scholarships to six high school seniors, worth a total of $10,000 each. The Foundation also awards two master’s level scholarships worth $2,500 each.

To apply, high school applicants must be:

1. Be accepted to a 4-year university, college or trade school;
2. Have a current cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher;
3. Be a primary or joint member of Addition Financial Credit Union at time of application;
4. Answer two short essay questions (100 words or less);
5. Include a letter of recommendation.

Applications are accepted from now through February 28^th, 2025. Winners are selected and notified by April 30, 2025.
