Dallas Jenkins, creator, director and co-writer of “The Chosen,” will headline a fundraising event benefiting Lutheran Haven Retirement Center on Saturday, Oct. 3, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Oviedo. Every ticket sold will support Lutheran Haven Benevolent Care Ministry, which provides provides financial assistance to residents, including retired pastors, missionaries, commissioned church workers, schoolteachers and others who need additional support during their retirement years.
