What’s happening this weekend–Pumpkin Patch

Friday night football: The Winter Springs High School Bears play Lake Howell High School at 7 p.m. at home–130 Tuskawilla Road, Winter Springs. The Hagerty High School Huskies play Winter Park High School at 7 p.m. at home–3225 Lockwood Blvd., Oviedo. The Oviedo High School Lions play Flagler-Palm Coast High School at 7 p.m. at home–601 King Street, Oviedo.

Live music, more than 60 local vendors selling crafts, plants, and fresh produce and ready-to-eat food will be at the Oviedo Farmers Market from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2 at the Lawton House, 200 W. Broadway Street in Oviedo. Pets are welcomed. Tours of the Lawton House are available during market hours. Get a pumpkin for a cause at First United Methodist Church Oviedo’s Pumpkin Patch from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2-31 at FUMCO, 263 King Street in Oviedo. The pumpkins are all grown on a Navajo Indian reservation in New Mexico. Proceeds benefit FUMC Youth Ministries and the Navajo Indian Mission. Drive inside a top-secret facility while shooting horrifying clowns and zombies with toy lasers at the Oviedo Mall’s Scream and Stream, open nightly from 7-11 p.m. through Oct. 31 at 1700 Oviedo Mall Blvd., Oviedo.
