The City of Oviedo’s Holiday Comedy Night, featuring Mark Evans from Comedy Central, is from 7-10 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10 at the Oviedo Cultural Center, 357 Center Lake Lane, Oviedo. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Get more information.

Falling snow, a Santa bounce house, Santa photos and face painting will be at the City of Oviedo’s Winter Fest at Snow Mountain event from 2-8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11 at Center Lake Park, 299 Center Lake Lane, Oviedo. Where to donate toys

The Winter Springs Police Department is accepting toy donations for local children in need until Dec. 16. Bring new, unwrapped toys to the Winter Springs Police Department Lobby, 300 N. Moss Road, Winter Springs.

Donate to Hope Helps’ Christmas in the City to help hundreds of local families in need have gifts for their children this year. Find donation needs for children aged 0-18 here. Find donation boxes around town here. Hope Helps, located in Oviedo, works to prevent and reduce homelessness in Central Florida.

The Oviedo Masonic Lodge is collecting toys that will be delivered to children staying in Advent Health for Children on Christmas morning. Drop off new, unwrapped toys to the Oviedo Masonic Lodge at 534 King Street in Oviedo or Carpets & More, 310 W. Mitchell Hammock Road in Oviedo by Dec. 19. Send any questions to
