Attend a public information meeting on the State Road 417 widening project from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1 at the Oviedo Cultural Center, 357 Center Lake Lane in Oviedo. The project plans to increase the four-lane road to eight lanes from the Seminole/Orange County line to just north of the S.R. 434 intersection.
