What’s happening this weekend — Spring Fling, Jeep show, baby goat yoga

Get in touch with your wild side at the Seminole County Spring Break Eco Camp, which runs daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, March 13 through Friday, March 17 at the Ed Yarborough Nature Center, 3543 County Road 426 in Geneva. Run for a cause at The 2nd Annual Spring Rising 5k, 10K run and walk, starting at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, March 18 at First United Methodist Church Oviedo, 263 King Street. The race will be along the Cross Seminole Trail. There will be a kids’ 1-mile fun run at 8:45 a.m. After the race, stick around to learn how to plan and tend a home garden from local gardening clubs, farms and nurseries. There will be vendors and free cuttings and seeds. Race proceeds benefit local schools’ underfunded education gardens. Learn more

Register for the 2023 Kiwanis Oviedo-Winter Springs 24th Annual Golf Tournament on Friday, March 24 at the Twin Rivers Golf Club, 2100 Ekana Drive in Oviedo. Most folks who attend this casual, social run start the run just before 6 p.m. Participants start in the parking lot of Oviedo’s Historic Celery Pre-cooler, located at 159 N.
