The 2023 Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday began on Monday, July 24 and ends on Sunday, Aug. 6. During the sales tax holiday period, tax is not due on the retail sale of clothes, school supplies, learning gadgets and more. Learn more.

Dementia-Friendly Dining is every Tuesday from 2-5 p.m. at Perkins Restaurant, 701 E. State Road 434 in Winter Springs and every Wednesday from 2-5 p.m. at the Town House Restaurant, 139 N. Run through Oviedo’s historic downtown every Tuesday night with Oviedo Run Club. Most folks who attend this casual, social run start the run just before 6 p.m. Participants start in the parking lot of Oviedo’s Historic Celery Pre-cooler, located at 159 N.
