Local Spring Break Camp Guide

Thinking of signing up for a local spring break camp? They tend to fill up fast, so here’s our guide to help you decide.

Spring break is right around the corner! Oviedo Community News has compiled a local spring break camp list for your kids. And, don’t forget, many of the same groups offer programming during summer as well!

Boys and Girls Club Oviedo branch

Kids will enjoy arts and crafts, gardening, chess club, outdoor games, sports and other activities at the Boys and Girls Club in Oviedo. The club is open from 8 a.m. to 5:30pm Monday-Friday, March 18-22 at Boys and Girls Club, 55 Adeline B. Tinsley Way. Members need to be registered in order to attend, which costs $30 for 6-12. There is no fee for members 13 and older. Learn more.

Lukas Nursery & Butterfly Encounter is hosting a self-guided scavenger hunt from Saturday, March 16 through Sunday, March 24. Participants should stop by the nursery’s main barn to get the scavenger hunt sheet. Return the completed sheet to win prizes. Learn more.

Embark on the Kid Crew Scavenger Hunt from noon to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday, March 18-22 at the Oviedo Mall, 1700 Oviedo Mall Blvd. Participants will visit Duckie’s Vintage Boutique in the mall to pick up the scavenger hunt form. Once the “hidden treasures” are found, participants will return to Duckie’s Vintage Boutique to claim a prize. This free event is open to children ages 12 and younger. Learn more.

Oviedo Volleyball Academy

For aspiring volleyball athletes aged 14 or younger, Oviedo Volleyball Academy’s Spring Break All-Skills Camp teaches basic volleyball skills such as serving, passing, defense and more. The camp takes place 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Wednesday, from March 18-20 at Oviedo Volleyball Academy, 532 S. Econ Circle in Oviedo. The cost is $325. Click here to register. District Eat and Play

District Eat and Play offers extended hours during Spring Break, as well as their regular weekly specials which include free trivia, half-price arcade games, and $2 bowling. Doors will be open from noon-10 p.m. Monday-Friday, March 18-21, and from noon-11 p.m. on Friday, March 15 and Friday, March 22 at Eat District Play, 1395 Oviedo Mall Blvd. in Oviedo. Learn more.

Class Athlete 

Enroll your children in Class Athlete’s Spring Break Camp. This multi-sport camp takes place from 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday, March 18-22 at Fellowship Church, 5340 Red Bug Lake Road, in Winter Springs. Priced at $250 for the week, this program offers a mix of activities including daily warm-up exercises, dodgeball, flag football and board games with friends. Learn more.

Orlando Eagles Soccer

Orlando Eagles Soccer is hosting a Spring Break camp for grades K-8, from 9 a.m.-noon, with check-in starting at 8:45 a.m. It takes place Monday-Friday, March 18-22 at University Carillon Church, 1395 Campus View Court in Oviedo. Participants will improve their soccer skills while also connecting to Christianity. The deadline to register is March 3 and costs $110. Cheyne Ranch Kids Night Out

The Cheyne Ranch Kids Night Out takes place monthly, and for March it falls on the last day of Spring Break – from 5:30-8:30 p.m. March 22nd at Cheyne Ranch, 1963 Genova Drive in Oviedo. Priced at $40 for the first child and $25 for additional siblings, the evening offers a range of outdoor activities including quality time with animals, crafts and hide-and-seek. Learn more.

Songbirds Music, Art, & Dance Center

Register your kids for the Songbirds Oviedo Spring Break Art Camp. It runs from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday, March 18-22 at Songbirds Music, Art, and Dance Center, 181 E. Mitchell Hammock Road in Oviedo. Tailored for first- through fifth-graders, this camp helps familiarize children with artistic skills such as painting, clay sculpting and more. The camp costs $245. Palette Art Studio Spring Camp: Fantastic Voyage

Palette Art Studios offers a pirate-themed art camp. It runs from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday-Friday, March 19-22 at Palette Art Studios, 1319 Winter Springs Blvd, in Winter Springs. The camp costs $185. Activities include a three-dimensional pirate/mermaid ship, a buried treasure map and more. Learn more.

Equestrian Quest Stables Spring Break Camp

Join Equestrian Quest Stables for their Spring Break horse camp. It takes place from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, March 18-22 at Equestrian Quest Stables, 4355 N. C.R. 426 in Geneva. It costs $195 for the week and caters to ages 5 and older, providing instruction on safety, care, and nutrition for riders and horses. For more information, call 407-314-1735. Learn more.

A Kid’s Gym 

A Kids Gym is offering a Spring Break camp for movement and exercise. All sessions go from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (with extended care available from 7 a.m.-6:30 p.m.) Friday, March 15 and Monday-Friday, March 18-22 at A Kids Gym, 1495 Evans St., Unit 400, in Oviedo. Children can enroll for two, three, or five days with varying prices. The cost ranges from $118-240 for the different packages, and there is a $50 fee for unenrolled campers. Children in grades K-5 can also participate, with a daily camp priced at $60 or five days priced at $220. For more information, contact info@akidsgym.com.
