Thursday

LIFE at UCF, Central Florida’s longest running lifelong learning program for folks ages 50 and older, will host its annual spring membership drive through the end of May. Year-round programs are offered in person on the University of Central Florida’s main campus and simultaneously live-streamed for members to watch from home. The Florida Department of Transportation will host an in-person community meeting to gather input on transportation solutions for the segment of State Road 434, between Mitchell Hammock Road and S.R. 426, from 5:30-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 15 at the Oviedo Cultural Center, 357 Center Lake Lane in Oviedo. Most folks who attend this casual social run start the run just before 6 p.m. Participants start in the parking lot the Historic Celery Pre-cooler, located at 159 N.
