Rollins College announces Master’s Academy alumna Delaney Benton as valedictorian

Rollins College’s 135th commencement, being held on Sunday, May 11, celebrates the achievements of Master’s Academy graduate, Delaney Benton, one of six 2025 valedictorians.

Rollins College’s 135th commencement, being held on Sunday, May 11, celebrates the achievements of Master’s Academy graduate, Delaney Benton, one of six 2025 valedictorians.

While at Rollins, Benton majored in English and Music. She won the music department’s Outstanding Jazz Musician award, the Grace Warlow Barr creative writing scholarship, and the Stepping Up Award for student media. She served as Philanthropies Committee chair and Vice President, Ritual for her women’s music fraternity, Sigma Alpha Iota. She was a peer mentor and also worked at 91.5 FM WPRK, the College’s radio station, as a Traffic Coordinator. Recently, she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.
