Need to keep the kids busy over the holiday break? Local businesses offer Winter Break camps.

Spend your winter break diving into topics of creative design and with Code Ninjas from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday-Wednesday, Dec. 22-24, Friday, Dec. 26, Monday-Wednesday, Dec. 29-31, Friday, Jan. 2 and Monday, Jan. 5 at 44 Lawton Ave. in Oviedo. Registration costs $59 per day. The camp is open to children ages 5-14. Learn more.

Create and bring home three surprise gifts at one-day Christmas Camps at Palette Art Studio from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 19, and Monday, Dec. 22 at 1319 Winter Springs Blvd. Registration costs $56. Available for children from kindergarten to fifth grade. Learn more.

Wear your favorite pajamas and create new llama pajamas at Happy New Year Camp! at Palette Art Studio from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30 at 1319 Winter Springs Blvd. Registration costs $52. The camp is available for children from kindergarten to fifth grade. Bring a lunch, snack and water bottle. Learn more.

Explore the Geneva Wilderness Area and learn about native wildlife at Winter Break Eco Camp 2025 at the Ed and Imogene Yarborough Nature Center. Join the adventure from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. (extended care available from 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.) Monday-Wednesday, Dec. 29-31 and Friday, Jan. 21 at 3485 N. County Road 426 in Geneva. Registration cost: $132, extended care is an additional $15/week. Learn more.

Spend your winter break at the Oviedo YMCA Family Center during their Holiday Camp from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 22 – Jan. 5 at 7900 Red Bug Lake Road in Oviedo. Daily Registration costs $50 for members and $60 for non-members. The sessions are available for children ages 5-12. Learn more. 

Experience hands-on animal care activities at Cheyne Ranch’s three-day Winter Break Camp 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31 – Friday, Jan. 2 at 1963 Genova Drive in Oviedo. Registration costs $150 each week. The camp is available for children ages 5-11. Learn more.
