Emily Dougherty is a senior at the University of Central Florida majoring in print/digital journalism and minoring in women and gender studies. She’s the assistant life editor for UCF’s student-run newspaper, NSM Today, and a member of UCF’s Society of Professional Journalists chapter. As a graduate of Oviedo High School, she is excited to report on her own community.

In her free time, she enjoys going to coffee shops, attending concerts and spending time with her friends.
