She loved the beach, where she felt most at peace, and shared her life with her beloved dogs Rusty and Fred, who were never far from her side. Many of Sammye’s happiest moments were spent around a card table, playing Rummy with her dear friend Bebe, where laughter and friendly teasing filled the room.
