Mr. Michael Merritt Staley – 11/13/2024

Beloved son of James Merritt Staley and Virginia Meek Staley, Michael was born on October 1, 1949. Mike was a cherished father, grandfather, and a loyal friend to many. He had a deep passion for fishing, golfing, hunting, and gardening. A true Florida native, Mike spent his days out on the water, surpassing most fishermen with his skills. He also found joy in watching sports and old western films. Mike’s warm heart and adventurous spirit touched many lives. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Survived by: his children, Heather Staley (Simeon), Cheryl Staley, Daniel Staley, Melissa Martinez (Polo), Grandchildren, Madalynne, Jacob, Angelina, Polo, Mason and sister Kathy Williams (Nick).

He will be laid to rest aside his father and mother. A service will be held Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Compassionate Cremations & Funerals in Oviedo Florida. A celebration of life will follow at Beef O’ Brady, 1817 East Broadway St. Building 6, Oviedo Florida, where loved ones and friends can share their fond memories.
