Jennifer Adams

Jennifer Adams is a Democratic candidate running for Florida’s District 7 seat in the U.S. House of Representatives. 

Adams is a Florida native who says she hopes “to ensure all children and families have access to economic opportunity, quality education, living wage jobs and the same freedoms she enjoyed growing up in Central Florida.  website.

She currently serves as Executive Director for Florida Community Partnership. She graduated from the University of Florida with a communications degree and earned a master’s degree in legal studies and another in social policy from Washington University at St. Louis’ School of Law and Brown School. 

She serves on a number of boards, including the Department of Juvenile Justice’s Circuit Advisory Board and the City of Winter Park’s Parks & Recreation Advisory Board. She’s also an instructor at University of Central Florida. 

According to her website, her endorsements include Orange County Sheriff John Mina, Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings, Orange County Property Appraiser Amy Mercado, Orlando City Commissioner Tony Ortiz, auto workers union UAW – Region 8, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 606, United Association (UA), Iron Workers Local 808, Moms Demand Action and Democratic Environmental Caucus of Florida.

At press time, she had $193,444 in campaign finance support from both in-state and out-of-state donors. Nearly $47,000 of Adams’ campaign money is self contributed. She has spent $176,884. Political action committees that have given to her campaign include Leadership Opportunity Innovation Service PAC, donating $1,000, and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Political Action Committee, donating $2,000.
