Lee Constantine

Lee Constantine, 71, lives in Seminole County and is an incumbent, uncontested Republican District 3 County Commissioner.  He has been a Seminole County Commissioner since 2012, a Florida State Senator from 2000 to 2010, a member of the Florida House of Representatives from1992 to 2000, and an Altamonte Springs City Commissioner and Mayor in 1978 to 1992.

His platform supports defending the rural boundary and protecting quality of life, according to his website. 

Constantine has been endorsed by Seminole County Professional Firefighters, Central Florida Hotel and Lodging Association, Orlando Regional Realtor Association, Orlando Sentinel Editorial Board, Greater Orlando Builders Association, NAIOP of Florida’s Central Florida chapter and Businessforce

With the Central Florida Foundation and Central Florida Public Media, she co-found the News Collaborative of Central Florida, a collective of independent local news outlets and aligned partners working toward a more informed and engaged Central Florida.
She served as treasurer for the Florida Press Club for seven years and has won awards from the Institute for Nonprofit News, the Florida Press Association and the Society of Professional Journalism. Megan holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the Perley Isaac Reed School of Journalism (now called the Reed College of Media) at West Virginia University.

Megan also loves yoga, running and playing board games with her family.
