Oviedo celebrates St. Patrick’s Day with a 5K and a street party

St. Patrick’s Day weekend in Oviedo started off with a bang at the HOPE Helps Sham Rock N Run 5K Saturday morning, then a big celebration in the evening.

Oviedo Community News woke up early Saturday to warm up and run the 15th annual HOPE Helps Sham Rock N Run 5K at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, then raced over to Center Lake Park to set up for the St. Patrick’s Day celebration that afternoon going into the night.
