Candidates for Winter Springs City Commission and the Florida House, Senate take the stage in two Seminole County forums. Oviedo Community News’ Megan Stokes and Abe Aboraya will be moderating.
Want to learn more about the people on your ballot in Seminole County this November? Then clear your calendar for Thursday night as Oviedo Community News staff will be moderating two candidate forums on the same night.
The Tuscawilla Homeowners Association is hosting a candidate forum at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17 at the Tuscawilla Country Club at 1500 Winter Springs Boulevard. The event is being recorded and is being moderated by Oviedo Community News Editor-in-Chief Megan Stokes.
And the Seminole County Council PTA is hosting a forum for candidates for the Florida House of Representatives and the Florida Senate. That event is a partnership with the League of Women Voters of Seminole County.
The event is being held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17 at Faith Church at 2641 Red Bug Lake Road in Casselberry. Oviedo Community News Local Government Accountability Reporter Abe Aboraya is moderating that event.
