Second Harvest Food Bank Welcomes HOPE Helps, Inc. to Nutritious Pantry Network

Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida recently expanded its Nutritious Pantry Network by adding another community feeding partner to the list. HOPE Helps, Inc. has been working to prevent hunger and homelessness in Seminole County since 2007. The Oviedo-based nonprofit is now a Certified Nutritious Pantry, a special designation given to partners committed to increasing access to healthier food options and providing additional resources neighbors may need. Free Childcare for Student Parents

Parents pursuing bachelor’s and master’s degrees through Rollins College’s Professional Advancement and Graduate Studies programs can now receive free childcare while they attend evening classes on campus. The new Evening Educare program provides high-quality childcare for children ages 5-11 and features a teacher-to-child ratio of 1:6.
