Where they work: Deltona
Prior work experience: U.S. Air Force (disabled veteran), Chase Bank, Angi and Yelp
Prior political experience: None
Platform: Get rid of flock cameras and all illegal surveillance devices, including repealing the Patriot Act. Fix the VA by making the VA more accessible by getting rid of restrictions that keep vets from seeing the doctors they want to see and getting the care they deserve. End the forever wars immediately, pass the Epstein Transparency Act and get PACs out of politics such as AIPAC that put foreign interests ahead of U.S. interests.
Why they are running: I am running because I’m tired of the duopoly ruining our country with more laws and policies that hurt the average American. I’m running because I do not feel there is a representative of the average every day American in the U.S. Congress and that is exactly what I am. I’m running because the average, hard working American needs a voice in government and I believe I can be that voice.
Most recent campaign finance report: Not a single dime from AIPAC or any other donor expecting anything in return.
Endorsements: My friends and relatives, the only endorsements that matter

Candidate Q&A: The questions below are based on voter questions and expressed priorities. Each of the candidates within a race were asked the same questions and given the same amount of time to respond. The candidates’ answers were fact checked but otherwise unedited.
Top problem and your suggested solution:
Remove all flock cameras and flock like devices that violate citizens constitutional rights. Repeal the Patriot Act that permits warrantless spying on US citizens. I would propose legislation that repeals the Patriot Act and prevents the use of flock cameras by any form of government.
Problem 2 and your suggested solution:
Fix the VA so that disabled veterans can get the care that they need without having to rely on the VA. I would do this by dissolving the VA and giving veterans VA level insurance that they can use at any doctor our hospital of their choice. Right now the VA is not equipped to properly take care of our veterans and the best way to handle that is to allow veterans be in full control of their own health care needs.
Problem 3 and your suggested solution:
End qualified immunity. I would propose legislation that ends all qualified immunity for all government employees, officers, politicians and judges. No one should have immunity of their actions and choices. The people in charge should be held to the same exact standard as every other citizen of this county.
Why do you deserve to be elected in this race?
I feel I deserve to be elected because out of the 3 candidates running I feel I represent the average citizen. I’m not a well known reporter or a guy with a powerful judge as a dad, I’m just an average guy who is tired of the duopoly ruining the country. I’m also the only candidate who has committed to accepting no money from AIPAC or any other individual or group that supports foreign interests. I’m also the only one who has said I will not only support the Epstein Transparency Act but I’ll help read each and every name once we pass the legislation.
According to a University of North Florida poll, Floridians say housing affordability is their top issue. What are your solutions for dealing with Florida’s affordability issue?
Remove red tape and regulations that prevent affordable housing. Get rid of zoning that limits the amount of housing that can be built and the type of housing that can be built on private property. The more housing we have available, the lower the prices will go.
Will you vote YES or NO on the constitutional amendment to slash property taxes, and explain your position. How would you replace lost revenue – fees and/or service reductions?
100% YES. I would replace it with absolutely nothing. Governments have far too much fraud, waste and abuse and they need to learn how to spend money nor wisely. If they need more money, they can ask their citizens to donate the money, rather than have it taken from citizens via taxes.
Utility costs are rising for customers in Florida, and the proliferation of data centers is expected to exacerbate that issue. How should Florida’s utility regulators respond?
Regulators should make sure that companies that build data centers are responsible for any increase in utility bills taken on by residents surrounding the data center. Data centers not being built on private property should have the approval of the residents of where the data center is being built.
What do you think is the biggest environmental issue the government should address in your district?
The water shortage and the aquifers.
Do you agree with the current federal and state governments’ approaches to immigration enforcement? Why or why not?
No. I do not. I believe we should have strong borders but I also belive that it should be much easier to become a citizen for anyone who wants to move to the U.S. and make it their permanent home. The system now takes too much time and money. People should be able to come in, get a thorough background check and if they can prove that they are an asset to their community, they should have to wait no more than 5 years to become a citizen. Anyone who has been here for 5 years and has no criminal record should be given an immediate opportunity to become a citizen.
Do you believe abortion restrictions in Florida should be more strict, less strict or stay the same?
I believe that abortion should new able to be used in a limited capacity. I have a daughter, so I could never be 100% against abortion.
In recent years, the Florida Legislature and the governor’s administration has acted more than 50 times to take away the ability of local governments to make decisions about everything from the use of plastic straws or gas-powered leaf blowers to the height and density of buildings when it comes to certain affordable housing developments. Explain why you support state preemption of cities and counties to govern themselves? Or, if you don’t support preemption, please explain why you don’t agree with the measures?
I do not support or oppose state preemption. I’m concerned whether the local rule or the state override better protects individual liberty, property rights, voluntary exchange, and limited government. I will support any policy that maintains individual choic, personal freedom and limited government.
In the legislature, would you vote to protect local government’s efforts to establish rural boundaries to limit development in certain local areas?
No. I believe in property rights. I do not believe any form of government has the right to tell you what you can do with your land. I do not support any zoning restrictions.
Do you support expanding the eligible uses of the Tourist Development Tax under state law? If so, how would you allow local governments to use the TDT (i.e., for public infrastructure, transit, affordable housing, public safety)? If not, why not?
No. I would not support expanding the eligible uses of Florida’s Tourist Development Tax (TDT).
The TDT is already a dedicated tax on short-term lodging. Expanding it into a broader local revenue stream for public infrastructure, transit, affordable housing, or public safety would take it away from its intended use. The more money you give the government, the more money they waste.
School districts across Florida are facing declining enrollment and the closures of public schools. What do you believe are the causes of the declining enrollment and how would you address those causes? Are there actions you would take to boost enrollment in public schools?
Quality of education is causing declined enrollment. Public schools are not incentivzed to provide the best possible education because they get money no matter what. The way to fix this is to institute an expanded voucher program and allow parents to have more control in their children’s education. This will force the schools to offer a better education or risk being closed due to losing funds that will now go to other public schools or private schools that provide the best opportunities for High School education.
One of the causes of declining enrollment identified by some school districts is the diversion of dollars from public schools to private schools through the state’s multiple voucher or K-12 scholarship programs. Do you see the need for more accountability measures for education quality and/or financial stewardship at the private schools that now collectively receive more than $4 billion each year in public funds? If so, what accountability measures do you recommend?
If schools want to stop losing students to private schools then they need to provide a higher quality education. I support school vouchers for the entire state of Florida, not just certain districts.
Florida is currently fifth in the nation for measles cases because of declining vaccination rates among children. The Florida Surgeon General recently introduced a new rule that would allow parents to opt out eliminates vaccine mandates that aren’t required by law and allows parents to opt out of four vaccines (Hib, Hepatitis B, chickenpox and pneumococcus) for “moral and ethical reasons”; and opt out of the tracking database. Herd immunity requires 92-95 percent community vaccination rates to keep dangerous diseases under control. Where do you stand on maintaining vaccine mandates for public/private school entry? Do you believe that vaccines cause autism? Do you believe that the number of vaccinations a newborn/infant receives is a contributor to autism?
I do not believe an any mandates by the state or federal government. Parents should be able to opt out of any vaccines for their children. Getting a vaccine should be a personal choice. I believe it is highly likely that vaccines have led to an increase in Autism cases because the numbers are just too hard to ignore.
What specific actions will you take regarding the findings from the grand jury report on the Hope Florida controversy, and will you pursue the recovery of disputed funds?
I would pursue recovery of the disputed funds and structural fixes to prevent recurrence. I would not pursue criminal charges because the grand jury found insufficient evidence to identify responsible individuals.
What will you do to protect voting rights and election integrity?
I would propose that every state go by the standard set by the State of Florida. I would not be for the SAVE Act as it creates an unnecessary poll tax due to the fact that documents needed are not free to obtain for those who might not have them.
Readers shared concerns about overdevelopment in the Greater Oviedo and Winter Springs community. We know that local municipalities must allow for density based on state population projections. What can be done at the state level to balance property owners’ rights and the desires of your constituents?
Protect the right to build, require local plans to accommodate projected population, make developers cover the infrastructure it triggers, and refuse to convert neighborhood preferences into vetoes over other people’s private property. That is the best way to respect both property rights and the practical concerns of existing residents.
Readers complained about roadway traffic in the community. What steps would you take to address this issue from the office that you’re seeking?
Allow local communities to fix the roadway system how they see fit to fit the needs of the local community.
How do you balance the idea of home rule when state lawmakers preempt decisions from local governments?
Only preempt decisions of the local government if the state government is doing more to protect individual freedom and property rights. Governments should have minimal power, no matter who is making the decisions.
Do you support the rural boundary in Seminole County? How do you balance that with private landowners’ rights to build?
I do not support rural boundaries that prevent private land owners from being able to develope their land as they see fit. New development would be required to cover the costs it imposes on the county. I would leave broader preservation of rural land to voluntary action of land owners.
What are you, as a candidate, willing to do to restore respect for the election process?
Support getting other states to the standards of the state of Florida.
