Jeff Boddiford, 57, is running unopposed for Oviedo City Council Group 4. He has lived in Oviedo for 24 years and currently serves on the Oviedo City Council as deputy mayor. He was elected to the City Council in 2020 and re-elected in 2022. 

Before his role as a council member, Boddiford served on the city’s Local Planning Agency. Boddiford has also served on the Oviedo Police Foundation and Boys Town Central Florida Board and has been a member of the Oviedo Winter Springs Chamber of Commerce. He volunteers at Hope Helps. Learn more.

According to the Seminole County Supervisor of Elections Jeff Boddiford’s campaign finances show $500.00 in contributions and $451.70 in expenses.

Boddiford did not submit a video or participate in OCN’s candidate Q&A.

With the Central Florida Foundation and Central Florida Public Media, she co-found the News Collaborative of Central Florida, a collective of independent local news outlets and aligned partners working toward a more informed and engaged Central Florida.

She served as treasurer for the Florida Press Club for seven years and has won awards from the Institute for Nonprofit News, the Florida Press Association and the Society of Professional Journalism. Megan holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the Perley Isaac Reed School of Journalism (now called the Reed College of Media) at West Virginia University.

Megan also loves yoga, running and playing board games with her family.
