Apartments, townhomes on Seminole County agenda next week

Seminole County Commissioners could weigh in on two developments, including apartments near Lukas Nursery

The Seminole County Commission will look at final approvals for two housing developments next week, including apartments and townhomes.

The first is Greeneway Preserve, a 308-unit apartment complex planned for a current RV storage lot near where State Road 417 passes over Slavia Road, close to Lukas Nursery. The Seminole County Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of that project.

The other project on the agenda is Tatra Townhomes, a 70-townhome project on about 12 acres of land. It’s proposed to be developed on the less-traveled west end of Chapman Road, nestled between State Road 417 and State Road 426.

The Planning and Zoning Commission also recommended approval of the townhome project.

The County Commission meeting will address the developments in the afternoon Tuesday, starting at 1:30 p.m. The address is 1101 E. First St. in Sanford.
