Oviedo Freemason lodge #243 provided donation to Hope Helps.
What could make a beautiful Saturday at Oviedo on the Park during the recent 100-year anniversary celebration even better … knowing that the proceeds of the water you are drinking is being donated to a great charity. On Saturday, April 26, the Oviedo Freemason Lodge #243 (Oviedo Masonic Lodge) booth helped make residents aware of the purpose and benefits of Freemasons. Charity being a core principle of Freemason’s, it was decided that all proceeds from the sale of water would be donated to a local charity. As promised, all proceeds of the sale of water by the Freemasons was donated to the local charity HOPE Helps Inc., which focuses on preventing and reducing hunger and homelessness in Central Florida. “We look forward to continue providing assistance and support to HOPE Helps and other local charities” said Freemason Michael Macaluso. “One of the key principles of Freemasonry is ‘making good men better’. Engagement with the community in various activities is a big part of that.”

Habitat for Humanity Announces Achievement Award Winners
