Casselberry Elementary Bamboo Bolt Fundraiser-100% of the funds raised go directly back to the school
Casselberry Elementary is a proud Title I School in Seminole County Public Schools, and we are preparing for our annual Fun Run fundraiser, the Bamboo Bolt! Last year, our students and families raised an incredible $28,000, and this year we are hoping to reach $30,000. The Bamboo Bolt is run entirely through community support and volunteers, meaning 100% of the funds raised go directly back to our school and classrooms.
To help make this event exciting and rewarding for our students, we are seeking donations of prizes, gift cards, experiences, tickets, merchandise, or other giveaways that can be used as incentives throughout the fundraiser. These donations help motivate students, increase participation, and create a fun experience for all.
Your support would have a direct impact on our students and school community. In appreciation of your generosity, we will proudly recognize and promote your business or organization to our school families, highlighting the wonderful community partners who help make events like this possible.
No donation is too small, and every contribution helps us move closer to our goal while creating lasting memories for our students.
Thank you for considering a donation to support Casselberry Elementary and our Bamboo Bolt Fun Run. We truly appreciate your partnership and commitment to helping our students thrive.

In recognition of World Stroke Day on Oct. 29, HCA Florida Healthcare Dr. Gerard Deib explains how to B.E. F.A.S.T. and why immediate emergency care can improve outcomes. Dr. Deib encourages Central Florida residents to remember the American Heart Association phrase B.E. F.A.S.T., which stands for:
• B – Balance loss
• E – Eye or vision changes
• F – Face drooping
• A – Arm weakness
• S – Speech difficulty
• T – Time to call 911
“Knowing the warning signs is important for adults of all ages,” said Dr. Deib, an interventional neuroradiologist at HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital, a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center. “Every minute without treatment can mean more damage to the brain. That’s why it’s so important to recognize the warning signs and call 911 immediately. The sooner someone gets evaluated and receives appropriate treatment, the better their chances of recovery.”
