She volunteered with the “Meals on Wheels” program for (20) years, preparing
special dishes to accompany the meals provided and has been a member of Grant Chapel AME Church in Oviedo for over 50 years. She has served as a Trustee, Usher, Hayes-Jackson-Tossie Missionary member, and Lay member. She is a Consecrated Deaconess in the African American Episcopal (AME) Church.
