Orlando Ballet’s annual Ballet Ball on April 18, 2026, at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando became the most successful gala in the organization’s history, raising $1.14 million and welcoming a record 500 guests. The milestone event highlights the strong support of Central Florida’s arts community and will directly advance the company’s mission to entertain, educate and enrich through dance.
Proceeds from the Ballet Ball support Orlando Ballet’s artistic and education programs, including its Community Enrichment initiatives, which reach more than 18,000 Central Floridians each year through partnerships with schools and underserved communities.
The funds also support Orlando Ballet’s scholarship programs, helping ensure that talent, rather than financial circumstance, determines who has the opportunity to train and perform at the highest levels.
Board Member Krista Ledden and Board President Jonathan Ledden renewed their $150,000 Ledden Challenge Match for new and increased pledges this season, which was fully met during the Bid from the Heart through a surge of donor support.
“Growing our base of energized and passionate donors is essential to sustaining the success and excellence of Orlando Ballet,” said Jonathan Ledden. “Krista and I are incredibly grateful to the community for increasing their support by another $300,000 this year.”
Also as part of the evening, Orlando Ballet awarded two scholarships to dancers Annabella Byers and Claire Richardson in a live presentation during the festivities, underscoring the commitment to training and fostering the next generation of dancers.
“I am incredibly proud of what our community accomplished this year,” said Colte Debbouza–Suggs, Ballet Ball Co-Chair and Orlando Ballet Board Member, alongside fellow Co-Chairs Ekta Desai and Eric Horner. “Breaking the $1 million mark is not just a number. It is a reflection of how deeply Central Florida values the arts and the difference they make in people’s lives.”
