To recognize the incredible work of teachers and nurses during their national appreciation weeks, Addition Financial Credit Union made special stops in Seminole County, delivering heartfelt thanks and thoughtful surprises to those on the front lines of education and healthcare.

From May 5 through May 9, Addition Financial team members stopped by local schools and hospitals in Seminole, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Lake, and Volusia counties, bringing picnic baskets packed with treats and goodies for lucky raffle winners. Some locations also enjoyed the bonus of a sponsored coffee bar, serving up handcrafted drinks to help teachers and nurses power through their day.

The stops in Seminole County included morning visits at Lawton Chiles Middle School in Oviedo, and at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs.

“This campaign is personal for us,” said Richard Barbari, Director of Community Engagement and Partnerships at Addition Financial. “We were founded by a group of educators nearly 90 years ago, and it is part of who we are to stand by those who dedicate their lives serving and caring for others. This tour is just one way we can say, ‘Thank you – we appreciate everything you do.’”
